Friday: DAY IN REVIEW: Six games were played on the last Friday of the regular season and there were some good ones. Webster Thomas broke out in the second quarter, led 7-5 at the half and won 12-8 over McQuaid Jesuit. Newark scored five goals in each half and fought off a surge by Gananda to win 10-8. Brockport goalie Antonio DiEngeniis made 14s/6ga (70%) to help the Blue Devils beat Gates Chili 9-6 tonight. Other winners were Victor, Rush-Henrietta and Mynderse.

There were fourty-five games played last week and although there were some exciting ones there continued to be a large number of mismatches. With travel concerns this season there are only ten out of section games scheduled and eight have been played. Section Five has won seven.

Wednesday: DAY IN REVIEW: The only game that was close today was the one the everyone was talking about all season, as two undefeated teams met and only one would continue with the possibility of a perfect season. In the end, Webster Thomas scored four goals in the final quarter to score a 7-5 victory over Canandaigua.

Monday: DAY IN REVIEW: Senior attackman Brady Knauf scored the last of his 5g-1a in the second overtime period to give Gates Chili a 12-11 win at Gananda tonight. Meanwhile, in Canandaigua defense was the name of the game as the Braves defeated McQuaid Jesuit 4-1. The other seven games were mismatches in which the winners outscore their opponents 105-24.

Friday: DAY IN REVIEW: There were two games played on a cold night with some rain, and in Brighton, some snow flakes. Hilton stayed close the entire game and didn't take their first lead until 4:02 left in the game as they won a 12-11 at Brighton. Their strong win was on the backs of Devin Kluth (2g-2a) and Matthew Mojsej (2g-3a). Brighton's stand-out performance was from Sam Tourangeau at the draw (20/25) and on offense (2g-2a). # 3064  Gates Chili Looks to Rebuild

Gates Chili had eight sophomores on their 3-14 2019 record and three are back in leadership roles for their senior year. In the attack are Brady and Ethan Knauf. Michael DiMarco returns for his senior year in the midfield. New to the varsity are juniors Nathan Weise in the goal and Blake Fennel in the midfield.
